DHS DECA earns high honors, receives Naheola donation

deca - naheolaLeslie Davis of Naheola Credit Union presented $1,000 in donations to Demopolis High School DECA students Reid Claire Stein and Garrett Miller to assist in their trip to California for National Competition. Each student received $500 for the upcoming trip. The two students chose Naheola Credit Union as their marketing business, and their presentation won first place at State Competition recently. The students worked closely with Naheola Credit Union for several months in preparation for State Competition. Shown above from left are Davis, Stein, Miller and DECA sponsor Connie Davis.

Walker Davis displays an award from the Muscular Dystrophy Association. The Demopolis High DECA chapter raised $2,000 for MDA. DECA is a national sponsor for MDA. The DHS chapter raised the most money for MDA in 2012-13 and was awarded the 3D Award – DECA’s Dystrophy Diamond.
