DHS competes in Sectionals, girls finish second

Demopolis High School’s girls track team recently took second place at the Class 5A, Section 1 meet.

Darneshia Harris won the 300 meter hurdles.

Johnny Carter won second place in the boys 400 meters.

The boys 4 x 800 relay team – Seth Latham, Johnny Carter, Trey Haskins and Baja Fultz – won first place.

The girls 4 x 800 relay team – Audrey Boykin, Gracie Boykin, Mary Michael Bradley and Keyana Waller – took second place.

The girls 4 x 100 relay team – Ashley Ivory, Nikeria Grayer, Kel Rainey and Shay Smith – won first place.

Baja Fultz won the 800 meter for DHS.

Samantha Williams and Shermaine Hawkins took second and third in the discus.
