Demopolis reschedules Selma game for Thursday

Demopolis High School’s scheduled basketball contests against area foe Selma have been moved to Thursday evening. DHS had been scheduled to play Selma beginning at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday before a winter storm forced the cancellation of school. Demopolis then rescheduled the required area contest for 3 p.m. Wednesday before the announcement came Tuesday morning that school will be closed Wednesday as well.

Demopolis will now cancel its contest with Pickens County, which had been set for 5:30 p.m. Thursday, in view of playing Selma in that time slot.
