DEMOPOLIS 4, SWEET WATER 3

The Lady Tigers opened their run in the Tombigbee Classic Friday with a 4-3 walk-off win over intra-county rival Sweet Water. McInnis then hit a sacrifice fly to plate Abrams and end the game.

Sweet Water tied the game 3-3 in the top of the sixth when BreAnna Ramsey doubled before scoring on a Mallory Roe grounder.

Sweet Water struck first in the game when Ramsey singled in the first inning to score Elaina Mitchell and Charlie Vickers for the 2-0 lead. MCGILL-TOOLEN 4, DEMOPOLIS 2

The second meeting of the day between the squads proved a much different contest as the Yellow Jackets had 15 hits in a 4-2 victory over Demopolis.
