Demopolis Elite soccer donates to DHS teams

Demopolis High School soccer takes on a new phase this season with the inaugural campaign of its junior varsity girls squad. The addition of the program gives DHS soccer three distinct teams.

The Demopolis Elite soccer organization donated three checks Friday in an effort to boost each organization. Demopolis Elite donated $1,700 to the DHS JV girls team that is coached by Lydia Sutcliffe.

To the varsity squad coached by Bert Rice, Demopolis Elite donated $1,000. The junior varsity boys squad also received $1,000 from Demopolis Elite. The JV boys are coached by Willie Artega and Brian Meadows.
