Demopolis Elite player helps Birmingham team win division

Demopolis High student and Demopolis Elite member Zachary Chu has been competing as part of the Birmingham United 2000 travel team. Chu and BU squad won the Division I state title over the weekend, braving extremely cold conditions to beat Mobile, Huntsville and Vestavia. Chu will now move on to participate in the Olympic Development Program as well as the new Alabama FC, that will compete against Georgia and Carolina.
