Demopolis City School System to host first in series of community meetings Tuesday

In an effort to gather feedback and input for a strategic plan, the Demopolis City School System will conduct a series of community meetings in May.

Through the meetings, open to everyone in the community, the system hopes to get input for a five-year, citizen-driven strategic plan.

The one-hour meetings will focus on four key areas: School System Purpose and Direction, School System Governance and Direction, Teaching and Assessing for Student Learning and Student Support Systems.

Superintendent Kyle Kallhoff encourages all stakeholders to attend and help set the path that will guide the school system of 2,300 students over the next five years.

The locations, dates, and times are:

  • May 10, 10-11 a.m., Board of Education
