Braden Spiller wins NCCAA Men’s Golfer of the Week

CLINTON, Miss. — Mississippi College freshman Braden Spiller has been named the National Christian College Athletic Association Men’s Golfer of Week for his efforts at last week’s Louisiana College Invitational.

The Demopolis, Ala. native shot a 150 (+6) over two round to tie for third at the tournament in Alexandria, La. He shot 75 in both rounds and followed that up with a tie for 13th at this week’s Millsaps Collegiate Tournament held at Deerfield Country Club. Spiller shot 77 in both rounds to help lead the Choctaws to a final round score of 304, the second-best round of the day.

The Choctaws have now wrapped up their fall schedule and will be back on the course in the spring when they compete in the Grover Page Classic at Tennessee-Martin on March 10th.
