AASB seeking community input on superintendent search

As it begins the process of searching for the next superintendent of Demopolis City Schools, the Alabama Association of School Boards is gathering employee and community input. The AASB is using two methods to obtain feedback from community stakeholders as it pieces together a filter through which to conduct the search.

All parties are able to go to www.surveymonkey.com/s/DemopolisSearch and fill out an anonymous survey.

The AASB will meet with individuals face to face Thursday, May 14 beginning at the Demopolis Chamber of Commerce in a series of engagement meetings.

Parents and community members are invited to provide their input in person from 11 a.m. until noon. The group will hear from system and building administrators from 1:15 p.m. until 2:15 p.m.

Public officials will meet with the AASB team from 2:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m.

Teachers, support and other certified staff have a window from 4 p.m. until 5 p.m. while Parents and community members are welcomed again from 5:15 p.m. until 6:15 p.m.
