A Thank You from The Cody Webb Family

To our dearest family, friends, and community,

On May 10, 2013 our lives were forever changed. The pain we feel from the loss of Cody is heart wrenching to say the least. However, we believe God is reaching down and giving us love and comfort through His word and our community. To find words to describe the overwhelming outreach from people all over the United States but especially our community is difficult. To thank each of you from the deepest part of our hearts hardly seems comparable to the love everyone has shown and continues to show our family. The prayers you are praying for us are being felt and giving us strength moment by moment, thank you! The cards, the phone calls, the books, the flowers, and the food you send inspire us and encourage us so much, thank you! The monetary gifts to help with the funeral expenses and the Cody Webb Memorial All Sports Scholarship fund are awe-inspiring, thank you! The hugs you give, the stories you share about Cody’s impact in your life, and especially the decisions for Christ that you share with us are a ray of sunshine and a glimpse of God’s greatness in the great trial we are facing, thank you! While Cody’s short but precious life on Earth is over, we will forever remember how much he inspired and taught us all. We learned how to never give up no matter how difficult life gets, to always have hope and to keep living by trusting God’s plan for our lives and letting him work through us. For one of Cody’s favorite scriptures was Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” It is our family’s desire to let God’s light shine through us as it did with Cody’s beautiful smile and legacy. Although our knees buckled the moment we lost Cody and heaven gained a precious angel, God keeps carrying us and using each of you to comfort us daily. With heartfelt love, thank you!!!!

Sincerely,
